Technician Terms

The rules that govern technicians working through the DemandSa platform.

Technician AgreementLast updated: 2026-07-01

These terms apply to independent technicians and provider-linked technicians who receive and complete jobs through DemandSa. They complement our general Terms & Conditions.

1. Verification Before Work

You must complete KYC (ID, selfie, phone, and relevant certifications) before accepting any job. See the KYC & Verification Policy for details.

2. Job Acceptance & Availability

  • Keep your availability status accurate — go offline when you can't take jobs.
  • Emergency requests have countdown timers; unanswered requests are re-routed.
  • Repeated accept-then-cancel behavior affects your ranking.

3. On-Site Conduct

  • Update statuses honestly: on the way → arrived → work started → completed.
  • Document work with before/after photos and clear notes.
  • Extra costs and parts require customer approval in the app before proceeding.

4. Earnings, Wallet & Deposits

Earnings appear in your wallet after job completion and invoice settlement. Provider-linked technicians must record cash collections and deposit to their provider per the daily report; disputes are resolved through the provider dashboard.

5. Ratings & Reviews

Customers can review you only after completed jobs. Consistent low ratings trigger quality review; soliciting fake reviews leads to suspension.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Taking customers off-platform to avoid commission.
  • Charging amounts not shown on the invoice.
  • Sharing customer personal data outside the job context.
  • Working under another person's verified identity.

7. Safety Requirements

Follow trade safety standards, use proper tools and protective equipment, and decline work that cannot be performed safely — safety declines never count against your rating.

8. Account Suspension & Appeal

Accounts may be held or suspended for verified violations. You can appeal any decision through the support center within 30 days; appeals are reviewed by a human, not automation.
